The Miss New York Latina and Teen New York Latina Pageants are Preliminaries to Miss Latina US and Miss Teen US Latina Pageants - The Most Famous and Prestigious National Pageants for Latinas in the USA; and the longest running (since 1983). The mission of the pageants is to empower New York State's young women of Latina and Hispanic descent.
The Miss New York Latina and Miss Teen New York Latina pageants provide personal and professional opportunities for young women by allowing them, on a statewide level, to showcase their personal attributes and accomplishments beyond their physical beauty. The organization provides a forum where the viewpoints, talents and accomplishments of young Latinas are celebrated and encouraged. Furthermore through its strategic partnerships the organization opens doors to its contestants and titleholders in various fields including, government, law, entertainment, fashion, and television. Throughout their year, the Miss & Teen New York Titleholders will have the opportunity to travel throughout the state making appearances at various meida, cultural, civic, social, and philanthropic events.
